Just when I was about to get in the VIP section, the announcement came and the Eraserheads concert got cut due to Ely Buendia’s condition. If you folks remember, this dude suffered a heart attack some time ago while on a gig. Hopefully nothing serious happened to Ely but hey, we gotta thank the heads for doing this to us, their loyal fans. It appears that Buendia got stressed too much, we also have to remember that his mom just died a day ago.

After their first set(included “Alapaap”, “Ligaya”, “Wag mo ng itanong”, “Fruitcake”, etc…), fans waited for about half an hour, and again, I was about to transfer to the VIP when we finally got the annoucement. Should’ve known that when I saw panicked faces. Then I just got the text message from my contact in MTV that the show was being cancelled just now(can you belive that?), due to network problems.

It’s also one helluva viral marketing. I couldn’t believe the people that came and paid to see the filipinos’ fab four in just a short period of time with not much info and advertisments. I also have to mention the thousands of “orcs” outside the venue listening to the concert and desperately trying to view the combo!

Ticketnet apparently needs a superproxy for their servers as they can’t seem to handle transactions. They howver disclaim, that the influx is coming from Eheads fans wanting to purchase tickets. Tickets which weirdly have not been priced yet! How can you buy something without a price?

It’s jus a few more days and the boys will be playing together! It was way back in 93 i first heard of them, I think I just got circumsized by then. The combo on the run almost got their reunion sidelined in a poor man’s grave but thanks to Sony BMG, the reunion is saved from just being an idea.

The downside is that, the concert will not be free but this anyway will fend off our friendly neighborhood orcs who just love watching and crashing concerts. You can a compilation of Raymond Marasigan’s messages about the Eheads reunion in Odysseylive.Net. It’s really a cool website!

We took a vacations and that makes us human after all! 6UG or six underground, that cool bar in ortigas, right in front of our conyo friends in UA&P goes TV and radio as they partner with Studio 23 and NU107 respectively. Well it says in their website, http://www.underground.ph/, that this took 6 months to happen! And yes indeed, the “time has come!”

Ok, before I go, need to mention to those guys they need to take out their javascripts because it prevents them from being google optimized, if there are geeks here who can understand me. Or maybe, they really want to be underground, even on the net!

This is bad news and for stories like this, I always say we can always pray and hope for the best! In case you people are wondering why are we talking about Francis M in this website, you have to warp back in the 90s and remember Francis M released an album with a metal band called Cannabis. Not sure if it was Freeman or Happy Battle but if you have that album, tell me if it didn’t please your auditory senses. It was a mix of rap, folk, heavy metal and funk music!

Kicking off things, we read from Inquirer.net an article about Project EAR, and EAR actually stands for East Asian Revolution. Well dunno about that, sounds funny, uhmm sorry. Well this happened during MTV Asia Awards, and our boys from Slapshock represented the country.

I know there are a lot of Slappy fans and haters round here, but hey you got to admit, the Slappies got game. They just oversold themselves back in the not so old times. You can even read it below the article in Inquirer.

Well nothing much happening as BG is currently away, so I will be talking that much and you guys will have to endure me.
